This course offers an introduction to the art and fundamentals of shoemaking. We’ll explore the process of transforming a designer’s vision into a beautifully crafted pair of shoes. From understanding the essential steps of shoe creation to mastering the measurement techniques critical to the craft, this course will guide you through each stage.
You’ll learn how precise measurements are used to create the last—the form that shapes the shoe—how the last informs the pattern, and how that pattern evolves into a finished shoe or boot. There will, of course, be plenty of time to ask any shoe-related questions as well!
COURSE START TIME: 1PM ET (10AM PT)
