CAFTCADEMY 200: Corset Training with Starkers Corsetry

This workshop will give a high level overview of corset making, including materials, and constructing the ever tricky busk closure. Dianna will walk you through how to properly lace up different types of corsets and how to be sure the person wearing it can be as comfortable as possible, using different lacing techniques, as well as some pattern and fit manipulation with construction. This class will also include an overview of corsets from different eras, and how to choose the best one for each character and costume.

This course will be offered on Zoom with the ability for participants to submit questions in real time for Dianna to expand on.

If you are purchasing a student ticket, current and valid proof of enrollment must be emailed to learning@caftcad.com no later than Sunday, May 10.

Email any questions to learning@caftcad.com.
