All good wardrobe assistants & prep costumers no matter what department or industry should bring to the job some useful skills. Wardrobe Assistants are often hired on a full time or part time basis for general purposes. Be it in a union, non-union, theatre, T.V., film or commercial environment. It’s important to realize that wardrobe assistants & prep costumers are a very important piece of the pie and a strong, positive work ethic is vital if you are going to be a successful assistant and be asked back.

This introductory course will give an overview of the roles and responsibilities of the wardrobe assistant/prep costumers in relation to the overall costume department. The instructors will discuss everything from everyday tasks, skills required, what to expect on the job, kit requirements, and how to get the job.
