In this new and even more enhanced digital age (thanks COVID), CAFTCAD has seen the requests piled in for a course on computer literacy, sharing digital documents, and working with popular digital platforms frequently used in costume departments across Canada. We all know that many costume professionals are immensely talented in the hands-on and visual nature, but from time to time we all struggle in the realm of technology in one way or another.

This course looks to provide training for the basic tools of Google Drive (and G Suite), Dropbox, Slack, and Box for communication and information sharing within the Costume Department. Understanding these programs on your laptop as well as your mobile phone is important for being well equipped and in the loop for any costume role you may take on during a production.
