Working With Other Film Departments is a CAFTCAD panel series designed to introduce costumers to the other departments in film and television with which we work so closely. These panels will provide a platform for representatives from several departments to provide a broad-strokes overview of what they do, and how they expect to interact with the Costumes Department at all stages of production. Working With Other Film Departments features a diverse panel of speakers embracing the diversity we are fortunate to work with in the film and television industry and how together we strive to foster a healthy and safe work environment. We will feature a variety of representatives to walk us though the relationship between costumers and producers, directors, cinematographers, lighting, grip, camera, sets, props, hair, makeup, and visual effects.

Panel 1: Above the Line in Management will help us understand more about the roles of Producers, Directors, Cinematographers, Production Managers, and Production Designers and how that relates to the Costume department.
