This introduction to embroidery and embellishment workshop is for anyone who wants to learn how to reconstruct a section of beading or add some embellishment on a garment.  The skills learned in this class are especially helpful to any costume professional who needs to repair or add impact to a costume when there isn't time to send it out.

Topics covered:

• Basic tools and materials
• Basic stitches in embroidery
• How to add or repair sequins and beads
• Stitches to add to trims or stitches to add visual impact

Participants should bring their own scissors. All other materials for the class will be provided.
